A&E upholstery has been in business for a while I personally have not had a bad experience, just last month, I took him home furniture to be upholstery my dining chair came out prefect way better looking than when I first bought at Ashley furniture all leather price was fair when you considered buying new chairs. Just last year I had Juan do a convertible vinyl top on a 98 mustang GT ,did an awesome job for very reasonable price when other upholstery shops around the South Side wanted to charge me $2,000 and up. Little leather patches here and there on Lincoln navigator leather seat ,can't even tell where patch was at seamless at view. This guy is highly experienced. I strongly recommend. Fyi he does take his time for me that's not a problem. I want my product to come out good with no flaws, my saying if yo rush a job it won't come out to perfection. If there were 10 stars to give this review I would.

A-E Upholstery (Juan) did a very horrible job. Would not recommend. A two day convertible top job turned into 13 days. Juan would not answer when we called, he left Mustang Convertible out in the rain, my car was soaked inside. Slashes on my new top. Staples weren’t properly placed and ripped the material. Scratched my paint and broke trim /moulding. Now the top does not close correctly, I have to force to lock, we will have to purchase a new top and get another upholstery shop to install it. This was Horrible from the start he’s lucky he even got 1 star.

Owner is lazy. He wouldn’t answer my phone calls, I payed him a visit and he was asleep. He had my seats at his shop for over 2 months and did absolutely nothing.
