I’ve been taking my car to the dealer for years which has led to tons of miscommunication, overpaying for service, and constantly being upsold. I decided to look for a mom and pop that care about their reputation and would be transparent with what the car really needs while offering competitive pricing on parts and labor. AK Auto serviced the car promptly and showed/explained the process. I came through the door for the first time but they took care of me like a regular. I drove from out of town to work with them and it’s definitely my new auto shop. Thanks Arsen and team!

I had an extremely good experience bringing in my ford fusion. I had no clue what was wrong with my vehicle and the owner was extremely helpful, gave me genuine advice and managed to help me plus it was an extremely reasonable price he definitely went above and beyond my expectations.

Simply the best and most honest auto repair mechanic in Santa Barbara! Always fair and they use high quality replacement parts/oil/fluids which was important to me with my new vehicle. I was also able to get my new tires & alignment here and they were competitive with pricing. Like many others, I’ve been burned at other mechanic shops, but I know that will never happen here and AK Auto Repair is the only shop I take my cars to now!

AK Auto is the best spot in Santa Barbara for your car repairs. I have taken both my wife and my car in for service multiple times. They are honest, fair and very quick with the service. Finding a trustworthy mechanic is one of the most important things you can do. There is no one better than AK Auto.

Amazing experience at AK Auto Repair. Arsen and team have built an amazing space, every inch of that shop is spotless! Scheduling, drop off and pickup were all super easy. Great communication. I very much felt like my Macan was in good hands. Pricing was very reasonable, as opposed to other garages in the area. This will be my default garage moving forward.
