I had a disappointing experience with the customer service here. I called simply to schedule an appointment for a muffler delete, but the female representative was rude from the start. Before I could even finish asking about scheduling, she abruptly said, “Come tomorrow, I’m busy right now,” and then hung up on me.I understand that shops can get busy, but there’s no excuse for treating potential customers disrespectfully.

I found out about the team at American Automotive of Fremont from one of their competitors who spoke very highly of them. I am now a regular customer. This team is very skilled at what they do and they do it with integrity and honesty.

Alan did a solid job on my exhaust. He installed Flowmasters and set it up exactly how I wanted sounds deep and aggressive. Clean work, no shortcuts, and everything fit perfect. Good price and easy to deal with. Definitely recommend him.

I took my 1967 mustang fastback to have the exhausts system done, Alan and Denise was so very helpful.The car was not drivable so I had it towed and they were willing to push my car in out of the garage. I was very happy about the outcome, The way he did it was very nice and clean. Alan has worked on couple of my car. I hardly post reviews but this shop deserves it. Thank you

A repair shop that can't be matched. Between the cost of repairs, to the combined years of experience between the three techs they have. An honest shop that can perform any repair on any make. Want to add a final respect to one of American Automotives long time mechanics. Will worked here for Allen many, many years. Will passed away some months ago. American Automotive will deeply miss Wills expertise and character. However the shop will continue to grow and thrive with some young bucks taking the helm. REST IN PEACE WILL.
