I brought my Tacoma in because the muffler bracket was making an intermittent noise. Brett took the time to explore the entire undercarriage to pinpoint the culprit. It was a pleasure meeting him and appreciate bis honesty and shared OCD when it comes to dx and repair. I definitely recommend his shop for any muffler concerns.

The calculus of having a personal experience blended with a business transaction is something Brett has seemed to master. I needed to get my catalytic converter replaced to pass CA smog. I left Brett a voicemail, and over the course of a week (we played VM tag with him asking me specific questions and me finding labels in and on my car) I was able to set up an appointment. In that day, I dropped my car off in the morning, Brett called me when it was done (service light cleared from dash) and got it in the afternoon. He gave me instructions on what to do to make sure all of the engine systems were fully reset before taking it to the smog tester. The next day, I passed with zero issues. I did my homework and it seems as though his price for the service was about on par for what it should cost. But his patience and specificity made me feel more like I was a guest of his than just a customer. He gave me a clear heads up on the cost, what certain parts could cost in some instances (aftermarket v dealer/maker-specific), but I never felt out of the loop, nor were there any surprises or *gotcha* moments like I've had in the past. Brett will do a great job for you. Very professional

I found American Muffler on Google. I met with Bret the owner and he was very personable. We discussed what my wants and needs were for my 2020 Tahoe and he did not try to upsell me at all. His work is top notch and I am absolutely satisfied with the work. I will recommend him to anyone I know that needs exhaust / muffler work.

Super nice guy, easy to talk to and work with. Would recommend going here if you need your exhaust worked on. He said he normally goes by appointment only but he let me come in within a couple of hours of calling and got my car looking right. Super happy the mufflers don’t sag anymore! I’d come back if I needed any more work done.
