Came here recently to get my brake fluid flushed, then later the same week I went to the dealership to get some other work done and they mentioned I needed a brake fluid flush and I mentioned I just got it done at Brake Masters, I check the brake fluid my self and its still the same color that it was before, I knew something was fishy with them because I never saw my car get worked on, I only saw the hood up with no one around it. Then I paid em almost $200 for nothing basically just for them to pop my hood, my car was never raised in the air and also the wheels never came off to bleed the brakes. Do not go here unless you want shady work done. They are a scam.

This review is long overdue. As a single mom with three cars and teenagers who are now starting to drive, finding a mechanic you can truly trust means everything. Danny and the team at Brake Masters in Irvine have been such a blessing to our family. They are always transparent, honest, and professional. I have never once felt like I was being sold something I didn’t need. Danny takes the time to explain what actually needs to be done and what can wait, which I really appreciate. Our vehicles range from a 1995 truck that’s about to hit 300,000 miles, to a 2017 with under 50,000 miles, and they treat every car with the same care and respect. Anytime I’ve been in a pinch, they’ve helped with practical suggestions to keep our cars safely running without unnecessary costs. Now that my kids are driving, it gives me peace of mind knowing they can go to Danny and have their cars taken care of even when I can’t bring them in myself. Thank you, Danny and your family, for taking care of our cars for nearly 20 years. That kind of trust means the world to our family.

I’ve been a returning customer to this location for over 10 years and have never been done wrong. These guys are honest and do a great job. I recommend them to all my friends and family. If you need breaks this is the spot

Took my 2013 Tacoma in to have my calipers replaced, ended up losing +$700 and having a brake failure on the freeway as a product of a botched repair. Highly recommend finding another business to take care of your vehicle. On April 10, I brought my truck in because I heard a noise coming from the front brakes. After I had the pads replaced, I heard a rattling on the drive home. The shop forgot the cotter pins on my brakes, and my cotter pins rattled loose on the drive home. I had to tow my shop in the next day for them to fix it. They refused to give me any money back On April 14, I was driving to San Diego from LA, and my brakes failed on the freeway. Fully pressed down, the brakes had no stopping power heading full speed on the freeway. I had the truck towed to a local shop and they found that Brake Master's forgot to replace to bolt that connected the steel brake line to the brake arm— you can see the attached photo. The movement enabled by the missing bolt severed the steel brake line, causing it to lose all pressure. Now, Sal at Brake Master's refuses to refund any of the initial failed repair, and compensate me for my losses. For your safety and sanity, I recommend any oth
