I was calling around trying to find out how much it would cost to repair my car radio’s audio jack, Sheldon was the only one who kindly took the time to explain there’s no point trying to fix the jack, when it would cost less to replace the unit. He gave me advice on how to go about it, and we had a great conversation about the importance of having music in the car. It’s wonderful to find a professional kind person who genuinely wants the best for their customers, and is willing to take the time to share their knowledge. Looking forward to coming back to Sheldon for future audio needs.

I called to ask about a 70V system for my store. Sheldon advised me on not repairing the amp but to purchase a new one. We need more people like this, people that will give you the honest service. Even though I didn't purchase something today I'll be a customer for life.

Sheldon was very helpful when I called looking for a part. Told me it was not a necessary clip to hold the turntable on. He was so right. Tried my turntable and it works without the clip to hold the platen down as gravity keeps it in place. Thank you

Sheldon seems genuine and is very passionate about what he does. But I would not go back to him - his quote for work on my Yamaha CR-1020 was incredulous - $2,300 to $3,100. It took him 3 months to get back to me with that quote and I had to reach out to him first. It held up my process of setting up a sound system tremendously. I’ve since had work priced elsewhere that is so much more reasonable. It was a bad experience.

Sheldon was an absolute pleasure to speak with. He took the time to thoroughly explain that the repair I was hoping for would leave the speaker subpar no matter who performed it. Without ever saying it outright, he made it clear that anyone willing to do the job would essentially be taking advantage of me. Instead, he politely let me know they don’t perform repairs on my particular product and could have easily ended the conversation there. Instead, he went out of his way to look out for my wallet and generously shared a wealth of knowledge about speaker repair—completely out of the kindness of his heart. In an industry where most places would happily take your money, Sheldon gave me a mini masterclass on quality repairs and showed me exactly what real honesty looks like. Highly recommend speaking with him if you ever need advice—you won’t find a more trustworthy professional.
