Brought the car in for rear end damage and they gave me a great price and fixed it so insanely fast. Got the car back and you can't even tell the slightest difference. Best body work I've ever seen HIGHLY recommend

I am writing this to warn others about greedy practices and unprofessional conduct at Chow’s Automotive. Following a wreck, they led me to believe they could handle a salvage deal with my insurance company, but they effectively held the vehicle hostage when the deal fell through. Despite me moving the car across the bay to another shop, they charged me over $1,400 in storage fees at $60/day for a car that was a total loss and couldn't even be fixed. These were fees I shouldn't have been responsible for, as the delay was caused by their own failed attempt to profit off the salvage. Worse than the financial exploitation was their personal response to my dispute. In a letter to my banks (Chase and Wells Fargo), they personally attacked my character and career. They mocked my education and professional success, calling me a 'smooth talker' and a 'hustler' simply because I am an articulate negotiator. Being a Berkeley-educated professional who has worked in the legal field for years, it was insulting to have these people denigrate my hard work as 'hot air.'
