Avoid at all costs. Dropped off an engine block along with an oversized piston so the cylinders could be bored and hone matched. After multiple calls trying to get an update I get it back and discovered instead of boring and machining to a tolerance of 75.5mm, they had punched it out to over 76.12mm! This rendered the block useless and utter trash. Why did they even take my piston?

My experience with MotorCity Supply was nothing but outstanding especially it was the first time in purchasing a remanufactured engine. Employee to customer communication was bar none to he best. They were able to get my 6.7 Cummins engine within a week. The only hiccup was because of Mother Nature and no fault of MCS it being The delivery of my 6.7 Cummins it was remarkable, an employee drove engine to the destination within the same day in a matter of hours. It’s been about a month 6.7 was installed and I couldn’t be more happy it actually feels way better than before. **UPDATE*** The above review still stands BUT shortly after the review I began to have an issue with my 6.7 Cummins engine. Gonna make a long story short as possible. The issue with 6.7 Cummins began blowing bluish smoke out the exhaust. Needless to say there warranty department gave me the runaround for about 5 weeks where I spent more unnecessary amount of money on oil just so I wouldn’t lock up the engine. And I followed the engine break in procedures on the web page cause the only paperwork that comes with the engine is a receipt of purchase and warranty info on the back. I purchased a transmission 4l60e from this business in December and it was something that looked like that came from a junk yard. The transmission was not even rebuilt. Returned that transmission and took just about 2 weeks to get a replacement that was a problem. Inside the tail extension is a sleeve that was flopping around and caused a leak. Not for the warranty part since December 16, 2021 I have been dealing with Aaron from Aer Precision Transmission and he lacks customer service period he has no clue what is going on with anything. He won’t return emails or calls. Now it’s sad that I have to write this review on this site because the transmission came from another company. Don’t purchase a transmission from this site. Still have not received my warranty (invoice) payment.

I purchased a motor from these people in Jan 2020. It started running quite badly and when I took it in a few months ago, my mechanic did a thorough diagnosis on it and determined that 2 of the cylinders were bad. He contacted them, told them his findings and they did NOTHING even though it was proven that they sold me a lemon! It finally gave up on Oct 16th. My previous motor lasted from 2003-2020. Their's lasted a year and 9 months. I now see why their warranty is only a year. The one I purchased from Advance Auto Parts this morning, comes with a 3-year/100,000 mile warranty. Now THAT'S how you stand by your product! NEVER AGAIN will I buy or recommend ANYTHING from City Motor Supply!

At the end of the day it’s just bad business and I never would of thought they’d be a problem had always been good business years ago! They told Me two weeks and it took over a month and I still had to go check on them myself no one ever called like they said! Handed them my deposit receipt and in min there shredded they act as if they did something wrong when I just file my receipts for my purposes! Just a very confusing visit for not being a first time customer..... I will find another shop before going here again guys I hate to say!!!
