5 stars. This was my first time purchasing service (car was post-warranty). I needed brake service. I had already gotten 2 inspections and estimates by 2 different services: 1 the dealer (which I already knew I would probably not use given likely cost and location) and the other a comparable (to Meyer) independent. While price was pretty close between the 2 independent well respected garages, neither price or Meyer’s location (walking distance) was why I ultimately chose Meyer. Reason: Communication and attitude. Each of the 3 repair services I went to explained my brake problem (and estimated repair) differently: dealer said rear brakes were close to new; competing independent garage said they were a major risk - almost entirely shot. While the indie garage I rejected was mostly correct in its diagnosis and recommendation, I chose Meyer because at my request, they did not hesitate to enable me to come into shop and view brakes myself on my car while they simultaneously took measurements, answered my questions, and addressed my concerns. Meyer’s price and proposal was more conservative and prudent than their competitor (a possible part replacement resulting in the potential of +$3

I needed new tires quickly before a road trip. Dana Meyer came through big time. Fast, very personable, great service. My Mazda drives like new and the price was reasonable. Thank you! 👌

I had always taken my car to the Toyota dealer service center in Dublin. They performed excellent work, but it was distant. I was not impressed with Berkeley Toyota service and was looking for a quality service center for my vehicle that was local to Albany where I live. I saw that Dana Meyer had a long history in Albany and had high rating amongst it's customers. I decided to give it a try. I had an oil change to begin with. I was advised that the tires and struts were due for replacement. There was no pressure put to me to have this work done. They explained the issues and showed pictures. I ended up having the tires and struts replaced. They did the work in the time frame agreed upon, and were friendly and helpful at the reception area. I looked at the work performed and the quality was top notch. They were even able to bring the price down a bit on some items. I will be returning to have my vehicle serviced at Dana Meyer.

Dana Meyer Auto Care is the best! I have been a customer for many years and have referred many friends to this business. This shop has the best auto diagnostics and team of skilled technicians. Excellent customer service from friendly, honest and knowledgeable staff is the reason this shop is my go to. A special thank you to Dillon and staff for the care and attention you recently gave to my 1990 Acura Integra. I can always rely on Dana Meyer Auto Care for honest and dependable service.

Bring your car here first! I brought my ten yr old Honda CRV in today to replace my starter. Unfortunately, I also learned that the wheel bearings for one of my wheels needed replacing as well, and that my brakes were about due to be replaced, (but they explained that I had a couple of months of runway, if I needed to consider costs,). Two other mechanics from different shops told me they couldn’t find the source of the rumble that Dana Meyer technicians did. The technicians did a great job of explaining what was going on with my car and why, what levels of priority each service was that was needed, what the costs were going to be before charging me, and what my other options were. They advised me in a way that felt informative, which is not something I always get with mechanics, as a woman. I highly recommend Dana Meyer Auto Care for all of your car’s needs, and for service with genuine care. I’ll absolutely be coming back!
