I was recommended here by a friend about a year ago, I went to get the A/C looked at everything went well. A/C was charged and everything was great. Fast forward to 2 days ago, my A/C starts failing, nothing but warm air so I take it again. I told Jose what was going on and if he could check it out. He brings over tubes and refrigerant and just starts filling up the system. A few minutes in I asked him if through his set-up he can check for leaks and he just turns the gauges at me and says it's full. Never actually says yes or no as far a checking for a leak. I go home, shower and head out and my car is blowing warm air again. I take the car back the next day, he tried to send me over to another shop (I assume they send each other business) but they were unable to do anything because they were getting ready to leave. I go back to Jose, tell him that and now he's seems like he's getting frustrated. He starts arguing with me saying that if the car has a leak it's not his problem. Says that I paid him to recharge it so that's what he did, apparently I was supposed to know if there was a leak before taking it to him. So I tell him, " is that really how you do business?? Would not recommend this place. Took my car here to have the engine rebuilt. Pricing was lower than competitors, so I decided to have it done there. My vehicle worked for a month, then it was having major issues with the engine. Took it back to the shop for Jose to take a look at. He held it for 10 days and when I picked it up, the vehicle was in worse condition than initially dropped off. I was able to drive it a few blocks before, now the vehicle was completely out of commission. He alleged that it was the 'battery' and not the 'engine'. There were no issues with the battery prior. When I tried to reach out to Jose to ask what type of testing/diagnostics were done, he ignored my request and did not respond. Apparently, he's done this to other customers. Lesson learned, you get what you paid for. If you're looking for an honest and transparent automotive shop, I recommend you look elsewhere.

Hands down, this is the Best mechanic shop in Long Beach and LA areas. Been coming here for years. Great fair prices Always, straightforward diagnosis, no suprises. Owner Mr. Jose is 100 as they come, I respect this man fully. Aways always fixes the problem. If you dont know anything about cars, this is the shop to come and feel safe. We all know how shops take advantage, never here. Best shop.

It may look unprofessional to some, but let me tell you i bring me cars 60 miles because they know their business. The price is unbeatable. And the owner is the most honest fair person in the business. And if you want to get a safe cheap ride he's always got something to sell. I don't usually write reviews or give 5 stars, this place deserves both.
