I had a nail stuck in my tire and called the shop after researching whether it could be patched. I described the location of the nail and the condition of the tire, but the person I spoke with said the tire needed to be replaced. I went ahead and had them install a new one. Afterward, I noticed that the valve stem cap had not been screwed on completely. Fortunately, I checked the tire before driving. The replacement tire also looked somewhat used at first, although I later learned that it is normal for new tires not to look freshly detailed. Overall, they completed the tire replacement without any major issues. The waiting area is fairly basic, with a water dispenser and a small television. I did get the impression that the business was more focused on upselling than finding the most affordable solution for the customer. I understand that businesses need to make a profit, but it would have been reassuring to see more effort put into exploring less expensive alternatives, such as confirming whether the tire could have been safely patched before recommending a full replacement. Just Tires is very knowledgeable and have great customer service. I came here to fix my flat tire and they stayed after closing hours to fix it. The workers work very hard and they open late as well so that’s a plus!

I had the best experience at Just Tires Irvine! I live in LA and got a flat about 10 miles from them. My car has run flat tires so I was able to drive to a near by gas station. There was a cut on the side, impossible to fix so I needed a new one. I've called about 12, yep, 12 tire shops in the vicinity and no one had it in stock, till I've reached them. They had exactly the matching one with the other 3 (I was considering getting anything to go home at that point but the cost of the new tire would go to the drain as I would have to still buy a run flat). The staff was polite, attentive and the service got done in about 40 minutes. But here's what stand out even more and motivated me to write this. I asked Wes, the more than helpful rep that answered my call and provided me the support in the shop, if he would recommend to change the opposite front tire as well. He went to the garage, measured the tread depth of the other tire, came to me and said, - No need, it has half a life yet and it's the same manufacturer and specs of the new one. I’ve been a customer of this Just Tires location for years. Every time I need new tires, this is where I go and this is where my wife goes. Today I brought in my car for a tire rotation and mentioned that one of my tires was leaking air. I agreed that if they found a leak, they can fix it. After an hour I get a call that they found a screw in the tire, but that the screw is on the side of the tire, and that they can not fix it. Trusting their expertise, I agreed to buy a new tire, even though the other tire was relatively new. When I paid for everything I asked to see the old tire. The screw wasn’t on the side, it was on the bottom of the tire. Still, they said that since it wasn’t in the exact middle of the tire, the company policy is that they can not fix it. The person at the desk said “years ago I would fix it no problem. Today we can’t”. I took the tire with me, and showed it to a friend who is in the tire business. He told me that I got ripped off, and that there is no problem to fix my old tire. He is fixing it for me, and I will keep it as a spare. Still, after this experience I don’t know if I can ever trust their expertise shop again and I’m gona think twice before I come

Don’t come here for a tire repair unless you bought your tires from this store. I walked in at 6:00 PM — two hours before their posted 8:00 PM closing time — with a nail in my tire. The shop had one car being worked on and zero customers waiting. Tony at the front desk turned me away and told me to come back tomorrow. I explained I couldn’t, and it didn’t matter. A nail repair is a 20-minute job. There was no legitimate reason to refuse the work other than not wanting to do it. If their policy is that walk-in repairs are only for customers who bought tires here, they should post that on the door so people don’t waste a trip. Going forward I’ll take my business — including any future tire purchases — somewhere that treats walk-ins like potential customers instead of inconveniences. Recommend you do the same.
