KBS has taken great care of my cars for almost a decade now. They are honest and provide reliable service. I trust them for regular maintenance or complicated repairs. Same owner as Kelly’s Body shop next door; who does body work for Santa Ana Police Department.

I brought my truck in for an oil leak, nothing else was wrong. There were no other issues when I first came in. They had my truck for 10 days. First they quoted me 10 hours of labor just to locate the source of the leak. I agreed although that was a lot of hours and I could see the general area of the leak. They then called to say they found the leak right away and it needed an Oil Pressure Switch. It's a $35 (I was charged $55) part and I was charged $440 labor to install. Looks like a spark plug, you just screw it in. BUT, ok no problem. They had my truck and I needed the leak fixed so agreed to charges. Then the oil change was needed, $300+ dollars for that. Plus I was charged $55 to evaluate the engine, on top of the labor changes. Total for oil change and this one part was $961. The guy then calls me to tell me I need a new Heater Hose. I asked why he said there was a small coolant leak. I never had a cooling issue when I went in so declined this service. THEN, I pick up my truck before closing on Friday. I drove maybe 10 minutes from the shop and my temp gauge shoots up to High. Truck smoking. I pull over. Its now over heated. I rest for a bit, call the shop, they are closed.

I have had my 2005 Chevy Silverado and my daughters 1999 Honda Accord serviced there. They rebuilt the transmission to my truck and did an excellent job in a matter of a few days. The Honda was having a few issue and I took it to KBS and Robert checked it out and diagnosed the problem and now it runs great. If you are looking for an honest place to take your car and not get the feeling you are paying dealer prices and ripped off take it to KBS. Robert has to be one of the nicest mechanics that I have ever dealt with, he is very knowledgeable and honest guys, you will ever meet. He will address all your concerns and provide you the best advice on how to deal with your issue. Robert is very responsive to your calls and will always make you feel comfortable. When you go in there ask for Robert and he will make sure your issue is taken care of. I highly recommend this place for your auto care needs. They would only allow me to give 5 stars but would give it a 10 out of 10 if i could. Thank you Robert for all your services. I will only take my vehicles to this place for now on.
