Lake Smog is affordable, fast, and easy to work with. I've had three different cars tested here over the last 9 years and each experience has been quick and easy. Despite not having an appointment and being unsure if my car was ready, Lake Smog took my car right into the bay and within 15 minutes I was out the door with a passed smog certificate. Excellent service for a great price.

I would highly recommend this place to everyone! The gentlemen working was very accommodating given it was an extremely hot day. He made sure I had shade and the fan with the mister was blowing on high. The computer was down for about 15-20mins. Again, he was very accommodating and apologetic

Lake Smog is a tiny smog check station behind another business. It shares a building with another auto business. You get into it by driving through the narrow/compact parking garage of the front business. As a less talented driver, I was concerned that parking and getting in/out of the Smog Check station would be difficult as shops that service cars often have difficult parking situations but the back parking lot was surprisingly huge. You still need to exit the station by backing up and using a “three point turn” but there is plenty of room to do it. Aside from that, the Smog Check station was not busy (only customers on June Monday afternoon) and the price is super competitive for 2026 - only $40 including the certificate - with a coupon from their website. Overall, I had a good experience and would 100% return. Best Smog Check in the area.

Quick service. I went on a Tuesday around 5 and there was no wait. They have a few chairs outside for you to sit while you wait. Paperwork was explained perfectly.
