This shop is a fraud. I am taking them to court. I took my car here for inspection because something didn't feel right on my car. before any inspection was done on my car they said it was my transmission. so I ask for a estimate they told me it was going to be $900. to rebuild it. so about a week later I call them because they never call me to let me know what was the problem or the diagnostic or when my car was going to be ready. so they told me that there was broken gear inside my transmission and the it was going to be $2800. to fix it. I was so upset because they never said anything about extra coast. but i gave them the o.k. I need it my car. so it took them another two weeks and a half to finish the job. so Marco call me to tell me the car was ready. I go paid for the repair pick up my car and before I got home the car was doing the same problem I took my car there to begin with....I was furious so I went back and they told me I had to leave the car again at this point I just wanted my car fix. so after 3 more weeks of my car in the shop I got it back, now the car is making a noise and it don't shift in to the last gear....at this point I am done I am taking my car to the dea

My experience with Marco and Lomita Transmission has been excellent. I have a fairly rare vehicle, a Volkswagen Eurovan whose transmission is suspect from the beginning. You really have to know your stuff to work on these vans. I’ve done a lot of research and feel very fortunate to have arrived at Lomita Transmission. I paid a more than fair price to rebuild the transmission and it’s been driving beautifully to the mountains and back already a few times. I highly recommend Marco because of his intelligence and fairness.

very knowledgeable mechanic and does excellent work... transmission runs smoothly and had them repair oil leaks and coolant leaks on my other car and did a fabulous job. would really recommend them.

The process I experienced from my fist telephone conversation began a friendship. I've taken many cars in for repairs in my life. My experience with Marco and Jose bringing me through their part of the restoration process for my 1969 Road Runner was extraordinary. Both Marco and Jose are gentleman and a pleasure to do business with. The benchmark in "customer satisfaction" is allowing the customer to feel like his opinion matters. They did that and more. My Road Runner is all the car I've dreamed about and more. It is better than I expected and as a result of their expert, step by step methodology, on the way to the really great car it is becoming. . Thank you again Marco and Jose. You are the greatest. When I can recommend you I will! December 18, 2018 after five years the experience is better, stronger and still exceeds all expectations. I have personally referred several friends to Marco. With out a doubt, Marco and his team are Super Bowl Champions. I've known a lot of mechanical technicians in my life time, some of them pretty good. None can carry a candle to Marco. About Chrysler's introduction of the "K" car, Lee Iacocca used to say "If you can find a better car, buy it".
