We’ve had a great experience with Mike and everyone here at Lonestar. My car is 22 years old, so it has many issues, but they were kind, speedy, and very fair with cost. We will bring our next car that has an electrical blinker issue here next. The lady behind the front counter is SO good at her job. Excellent customer service!

This place absolutely sucks! Very incompetent! I paid $611 for flickering lights, dome light flickering, license plate lights flickering issue. They allegedly fixed the issue I was having. 3 weeks later the same issue reoccurred again! Of course as promised by the shop, I have a one year warranty. Particularly useless by the way! The warranty is fake! I took the car back for the same reason the light flickers and they supposedly rechecked the vehicle. After receiving calls from the shop, I went back to the shop to pick up my car and still experiencing the same issue! How can technicians not see this is an issue!? The light is literally flickering! It doesn’t take a mechanic to figure out the issue! It feels like as if the technician never bother to take their time to check the issue and just wants to rush through the job and get me out! My experience with Lone Star Auto Electric is beyond horrible! I’ve never experienced this horrible service anywhere in the car mechanic but here! Absolutely disappointed! Lone Star y'all need to do better!

Took my car here multiple times they fixed the issue. A couple weeks later the tail light stopped working again took it for warranty job . All of a sudden my warranty is voided because they want to bleed you dry.

I’m a Combat Military Veteran and a School Teacher. Would not offer a payment plans. My car has been here twice within the course of 2 weeks. He will bleed you dry, warranty???? What????? Wouldn’t do it again. And to boot won’t come pick you up to get your car.

I took my car to this shop for a diagnostic and was clearly quoted $185 upfront. When I returned to pick up my car, suddenly the price had jumped to $400 with no repairs done. That’s more than double the agreed amount. When I questioned it, they tried to deflect by saying a dealership would cost more. That’s not the point—the point is they changed the price on me after the fact, which is simply not honest business. I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but this experience was unacceptable. I hope this encourages others to be cautious and the shop to rethink how they treat their customers.
