I have been using Marine Diesel for diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on my 2020 Aquila 36 powercat, which has twin Mercury 300 outboards. They have done great work throughout, but I am writing this review because today their team went above and beyond for me. Two days ago we were unable to start the starboard engine. We were pretty sure the problem was electrical and checked all the fuses and breakers. We could not figure it out, and we had a Catalina trip coming in two days so I called Marine Diesel. It was 1:30 pm. One hour later tech Ryan Diaz was at the boat. I was at the office so I wasn’t able to speak with him. But he solved our problem and our Catalina trip is back on. That is 5-star service!

Ben, Erik and the guys are super-friendly, knowledgeable and do their best to get to your boat, assess the situation and solve whatever issues you're having in a timely manner. You can also trust that they are honest and charge you fairly for parts and labor. It's hard to find great people who do great work in the yacht services industry so it's nice to have Marine Diesel Services for piece of mind. Makes boat ownership far more enjoyable when things work and you have help when needed.

I have a charter fishing business which means I need a reliable mechanic. Eric and his team of guys have helped me solved a handful of issues with my boat and often with only short notice. Marine diesel services keeps my business running smoothly. Honest and straightforward mechanics that know their stuff— highly recommend.

I have to admit that I have very high expectations and expect nothing but the best when it comes to my boat. The team at Marine Diesel Services, particularly Ben and Garrick have proven to be the best mechanics I have encountered in orange county. They are very knowledgeable, excellent at what they do and always willing to help in a moment notice. I highly recommend this team to work on your boat and I promise you will be more than satisfied with their professionalism and their honesty. I can not thank them enough for fixing my baby, I meant my boat!

Having been an aircraft mechanic and builder in a previous career it is not often I trust someone else to work on my equipment. When I have hired out work it is even less often that I am impressed with the job. I recently had my 6v92TA overhauled by Marine Diesel Services and was not only satisfied but very impressed by the job. Robert the tech who did the overhaul was punctual, polite, thorough and clean. I really liked that he knew and fallowed factory overhaul procedures. Robert was patient with me asking questions and constantly inspecting his progress. His knowledge of the systems and work is that of a true master tech. The engine overhaul went smoothly. All preventive and maintenance issues were addressed during the service. The motor runs perfect and so far has had zero issues. The price I paid was fair and on par with what the service advisor quoted. Despite the boat being in Marina Del Rey they were prompt, efficient and timely with getting the job complete. All the parts used were factory new or of high quality.
