This place is awesome! They did my regular service and smog check in just a couple hours, and fixing the belt issue they found added just about one more hour onto my service. It was super easy to schedule and drop my car off and the service was great. Everybody here is super nice and made me feel welcome and taken care of.

As usual, prompt and straightforward experience here. Reasonable hourly rate, timely communication of updates. No unnecessary fixes. These guys just get the job done and make you feel good about it. What more can I ask for my aging A3.

The team at Menlo Atherton Auto Repair is truly exceptional. I had a very complex repair on my Porsche that even the dealership wouldn’t take on. The team here went above and beyond. They did extensive research and worked through all of the technical challenges, including software updates, coding, and troubleshooting. This was not a simple install, there were a lot of moving parts and they spent an incredible amount of time making sure it was handled quickly and correctly. The end result is absolutely perfect and my car drives like a dream. Everyone on the team was incredibly patient, friendly and easy to work with, but what really stood out to me was their commitment and problem-solving. Exceptional service — don’t ask for a discount, better give a tip. The total repair cost was very reasonable. Even though the hourly labor rate might seem high at first glance, the time was used extremely efficiently. On Friday afternoon my 2021 Jeep developed an electrical issue and was completely bricked. I was about 1,000 miles away from my home in Canada. I found this shop on Google Maps and arranged to drop the car off Friday evening. On Saturday morning, the manager and a mechanic had already diagnosed the problem (not easy with electrical issues). They got the parts delivered by noon and had everything fixed by the afternoon. They explained the issue clearly and gave me advice for the trip home. The next day I drove 1,000 miles without a single problem. Huge thanks to Philip and the mechanic for squeezing my repair in between appointments. My best wishes to the team at Menlo Atherton Repair Shop.
