We have a huge amount of east-facing glass, and with summers getting hotter every year, our dual-pane low-e windows just weren’t cutting it anymore. After getting three quotes, we chose Modern Touch because they came highly recommended by a friend and offered very fair pricing. We went with Vista SpectraSelect VS70 SR CDF. It wasn’t the ceramic film we originally had in mind, but the specs were impressive: 53% solar energy rejection, over 99% UV protection, and 70% visible light transmission. In real life, we can barely tell the difference in brightness. A big factor for us was the warranty. Since exterior panes can sometimes crack when interior heat-reflecting film is added, we wanted to make sure glass breakage was covered. Robert assured us he has never had a window break from this film, and he also emailed us the manufacturer’s warranty confirming coverage. Robert and his crew were professional, courteous, and efficient. They completed the entire wall of windows in one day and did a great job. Modern Touch Window Films did an amazing job! The owner, Rob, and his son made the entire process incredibly easy. I didn’t even know glass safety film existed until I called them. I have a huge 1930s non-tempered glass front window, so now this film will keep it safely together if it breaks. Rob is honest and professional. When I asked about treating both the interior and exterior, he told me the exterior wasn’t necessary, saving me money instead of upselling me. They showed up on time, got the job done quickly, and clearly explained everything. Plus, the work comes with a lifetime warranty! They are super nice, professional guys. I highly recommend hiring them if you need window tinting or safety film.

The owner is genuinely a great guy—he gave us a very competitive price (and I did shop around), and it’s clear he truly cares about his team and client satisfaction. The crew was professional, efficient, and respectful of the space, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. This was one of the best service experiences we’ve had in a long time.
