The customer service at this shop is outstanding! They rebuilt my 2005 Honda Pilot's engine in a reasonable amount of time and kept me informed the whole time. Whenever I called with questions, Mark and Aaron, were very patient and professional, and explained things in a way I could understand. I appreciated them so much, especially because I had been ignored, disrespected, and overcharged by the shop that removed and reinstalled my engine. You can't go wrong with the guys at Modesto Engine-Renu!

These guys have done great work at a great price. The cylinder head I had done had some threading that was stripped, and they had a solution way better than helicoils.

We use to give this place so much business they did some horrible jobs for us lately and recently we gave them another chance. The keepers flew out along with the valve spring never again will we give a chance. STAY AWAY at all cost don’t trust them with anything

New owner took care of us .. Old owner still there to along with the same workers ....So you know your getting taken care of come out good can't get in the truck and on the road ..

In past years, when I dealt directly with Leonard, I would have given them a five star rating for the dozens of jobs they did for me. I don’t know if they’ve changed ownership or what, I am totally displeased at the work they did on an engine head and intake exhaust manifold for my antique car. When I got the Intake and exhaust manifold Combination home, the surfacing job was atrocious. There was a 32 Thousands difference from one into another. I called them up and they said bring it back. They’ll make it right. I took it back. They redid it. I got it home and it was surfaced so poorly and so crooked that I can’t even properly install it back on my car. I already took it back once so they could make it right. When I called back, they did nothing but ask my name. The man said he would check into it and offered no apology or restitution. I never heard back from them. Apparently making it right didn’t make it right and that’s unfortunate for them AND me. I will tell everyone I know do not waste your time or money going back to them. They are definitely not worth it. UPDATE: In the next 2 weeks following the response from Aaron, l called the number he posted 6 times. EVERY time I calle
