Gerald was an amazing help when our car broke down coming from SF to LA. He diagnosed the problem rather quickly and was incredibly kind and helpful in ensuring we’d be able to continue our journey when we realized our coolant cap had broken. Not only did he charge very little for the cap, but the diagnostic fee on its own was cheaper than many shops even in big cities. Gerald deserves all the best and I would come from far away to ensure he’s the one who sees my car. Thank you!

Excellent service at a reasonable price. Run by the owner, Gerald, he was friendly, helpful, transparent and honest. He quickly diagnosed our suspicions that we needed a new alternator on Friday night at closing time, ordered it and completed the work Saturday morning. He proactively inspected belts and hoses and indicated they were fine, despite their ages, which he could have easily indicated they needed to be replaced. The final bill even came in a few dollars below his estimate. I highly recommend Multifixitman/Gerald!

I can’t recommend Multifixitman's Auto Repair highly enough. On December 4th, I was driving down I-5 from the Bay Area to LA when my car suddenly started having issues. I pulled into a rest area and called State Farm, who referred me to Multifixitman’s. Gerald answered right away and assured me it was okay if I arrived after hours since his shop is next to his home. My car was towed in, and Gerald immediately began diagnosing the problem. It turned out my water pump had failed and a hose had a major leak—despite having gotten an oil change and fluids topped off earlier that morning, my coolant was completely gone. Gerald took the time to show me exactly what went wrong and explain everything clearly. He treated me with genuine respect the entire time and never made me feel talked down to. Both Gerald and his wife were incredibly kind, welcoming, and understanding. The pricing was very reasonable, and he had my car repaired and back on the road within 24 hours. He also pointed out that my brake pads were extremely thin and made sure I understood the safety concerns. I told him I was heading home instead of continuing to LA, and he was visibly relieved. October 2023 – Gerald saved me! I was driving from LA to SF when after crossing the Grapevine, a bolt came loose from my brakes. The only nearby repair options were shops for big rigs. Upon arriving at Multifixitmans, Gerald was right in the middle of some renovations on the property. He paused his work and quite literally hopped off a piece of heavy equipment to help me. Many people wouldn’t have done. He quickly discovered that a bolt had come off my brakes and explained that if I hadn’t stopped, the rest of the brake system could have eventually fallen apart, possibly leading to a serious accident. Gerald replaced the bolt and even resurfaced the rotor (something another mechanic could have skipped). I was back on the road in no time. I’ve been meaning to write this review for nearly two years—thank you so much Gerald, and to the gentleman who assisted you as well. You guys are awesome and appreciated.

Mr Gerald, is a life saver. I imported a car from Japan and during transit they damaged the tailpipe which started to melt the mud guard, on the drive from LA to SF. He went above and beyond to weld it properly, with out a appointment as a walk in. God bless him and his loved ones. Highly recommend 👌
