Unfortunately, my experience with this business was very negative. I understand misunderstandings can happen, but the way I was treated was inappropriate. I was never disrespectful, yet I felt an aggressive attitude that doesn’t belong in a professional service. I believe there are more respectful ways to speak to clients, and I didn’t expect this kind of treatment

The owner is one of the most dishonest mechanics I have ever encountered in my life. We thought our initial problem with them had been solved, but they tried to fabricate an additional issue with a turbo they shouldn't have even touched by disconnecting an airpressure tube that resulted in the check engine light coming back on. Due to our prior encounter with them(below) we went to South Bay Autohouse Mercedes instead and they found that immediately. This place caused *significant* damage to a turbo on our AMG GLC when they replaced an airfilter. It should have been extremely simple, however one of the screws to the airfilter fell into the air intake and ate one of the turbos. Before knowing this we took it to the dealership and had the car looked at and they provided all proof pointing to this shop. When we took it back the owner was up in arms, screaming at us and claiming he was going to sue Mercedes and fabricated some elaborate story. He even tried to claim he was ex military only to later admit he wasn't. Stolen valor on top of this isn't cool. Eventually he agreed to replace the turbo at cost, but then tried to claim that the dealership broke the ECU harness clip and said

I took my PT Cruiser in because the AC was blowing hot air, and I left with cool air again. The owner was friendly, the customer service was good, and I was treated well throughout the process. The price also felt fair, and overall I was satisfied with the service.

I've been going here off and on for years. Their honesty is above reproach. Their prices more than fair. Their service impeccable. Just had my 97 4RUNNER engine replaced. I love this shop. Never going anywhere else.

During a recent trip from the south bay to Arizona, my vehicle started overheating near Pine Valley and despite my efforts to cool the engine with additional coolant, the problem persisted. My road service was not helpful, so I contacted Dulio and Tammy at Nonstop Tires and Service in Chula Vista and despite having closed their shop at 4 PM, they arrived at my location by 5 PM to diagnose the issue. They quickly identify the problem, contacted their son to arrange a flatbed for my truck, they hooked the trailer onto their truck, bringing it back to Chula Vista arriving by 8 PM. Since the radiator was ordered on our way back, they installed it and by 11pm my truck was repaired and I was back on the road. Dulio and Tammy’s willingness to assist, even after hours, was commendable! Their timely assistance was invaluable, especially given my location in the mountains. I am deeply grateful for their efficient coordination and problem-solving skills, their actions are a testament to their commitment to their customers. This experience truly exemplifies the dedication of a good company. I highly recommend nonstop, tires and service.
