Great experience at Pacific Stereo Fremont. Good customer service, fair prices, and they did a clean job with the installation. Everything came out great. Definitely recommend them.

Do NOT trust this shop with electrical work — they misdiagnosed a $5 problem three times and charged me $580 In 2018 I paid $800 to have a remote start/alarm system installed on my 2010 Dodge Charger. Recently the alarm stopped locking the doors properly — I'd only hear a beep, no lock. I brought the car back to the same shop since they installed the original system. They charged me $100 just for "diagnosis," then said the control module was burnt out and I needed a new one — another $280 for parts and labor. I paid, and it worked... for one week. The exact same problem came back. I brought it back (still supposedly under their 1-year warranty). This time they told me it wasn't the module after all — it was the "computer" controlling the alarm, another $280. I pointed out I already paid $100 for a diagnosis that turned out to be wrong, and I shouldn't have to pay again for their mistake. They "discounted" the labor and charged me $200 for the new computer instead. It worked for three days before failing again — same exact symptom. At this point I did my own research. I opened the dashboard myself and traced the wiring. The real issue was a loose cable connecting to the alarm module

I'll be bringing my other cars here to get music installed in the future. I stopped by on a Saturday to consult and was greeted immediately by Amin (sp?). Amin and I connected instantly, he was approachable, patient, and he took his time explaining his answers to me. Most importantly, he didn't try to upsell me on anything I didn't need or want and he didn't talk down about any particular speaker brand. Very cool guy and wasn't pushy at all!! I instantly scheduled an appointment. I called a few times during the week because I couldn't make up my mind.... Amin still was patient and did not seem annoyed by an indecisive customer (me). The next Saturday, I left Pacific Stereo with my music slappin'. I went with Amin's "recommendation", and I am sure glad I did! The technicians (they know what they're doing) built a customized ported subwoofer box built to the subwoofer's specifications and tuned my JL Audio amps perfect. The box fits perfectly inside of my trunk. I'm coming back with another car! Mo, I might add was cool too, they both offered me a cold water! My overall experience was great! 10 out of 10!

I also had a great experience at Pacific Stereo! Had a 12-inch subwoofer installed along with an amp to push the existing stereo in my car. Mo and Amir were very helpful and explained in detail what would be done to my 2020 Honda crv. I couldn't be happier with the installation. The installers also did a great job! The stereo sounds damn good!

5-Star Review – Pacific Stereo, Fremont, CA I had a great experience at Pacific Stereo in Fremont. Despite some of the negative reviews out there, I believe many of those come from people who didn’t do their research before showing up. If you come in prepared—knowing what you want, your budget, and asking the right questions—these guys will absolutely work with you. They never pressured me or tried to upsell. I told them what I was looking for, gave them my budget, and they worked with it respectfully and honestly. My full install included a new stereo, amplifier, speakers, subwoofer, knob, and mixing—everything done within just two hours! No, they don’t wear suits or look “corporate”—but that’s because they’re hands-on and ready to get the job done until the customer is satisfied. That matters more than a uniform. My system sounds just how I wanted it to, and I truly appreciate their honest work. Thanks again to the team at Pacific Stereo. Highly recommended for anyone serious about upgrading their sound system the right way
