This guy not run a good, honest business to say the least. He told me he was going to get me in on Tuesday to install a catalytic converter (which I had) that was on Wednesday. So almost a week away. I show up on Tuesday morning, and he tells me he's too busy, and he'll call me, it's Thursday now and he says maybe next week. He also promised me he'd get my car turned pass smog even if he had to "work a little magic" on it... Sounds like an illegal smog to me Pedro! I'd wonder what the authorities might have to say about that? Good luck my friend! And thanks for nothing!

Very positive experience with Pedro on Saturday June 5th! Was referred by Perry Ford as they were unable to complete my smog certification by Monday. Pedro completed the certification in about 20 minutes and I was ready to go! I enjoyed sitting in his office while he worked on my car reading all his fun signs! Excellent Customer Service at a great price! I will definitely be returning in the future.

I’ve trusted Pedro with my cars for over 13 years. He is hands down the most honest mechanic around. His new spot right behind the laundromat on Alamar is great, super convenient, close to coffee and food, and has comfortable indoor/outdoor seating. Pet friendly 🐾🐕🐶 Plus, it’s kid-friendly with a box of toys. Highly recommend!

I’m writing this specifically for women considering this location. In February I brought my 1990 Ford Bronco in for smog. It failed. I paid $100, worked with my mechanic, and returned February 26th. That’s when Pedro informed me my check engine light would prevent a legal pass — then suggested that for an additional fee, it could be handled. I did not solicit this. He approached me. The vehicle passed. When I went to start my truck it wouldn’t turn over. It never made it off their lot under its own power. Staff ignored me, then mocked me openly in front of other customers and staff for a solid hour — the most hostile I’ve been made to feel in 40 years as a paying customer, and I’ve worked as an executive chef and a USCG Licensed Captain. I know what hostile male environments look like. Eventually they pushed my truck into the street. My mechanic diagnosed a failed fuel pump — something any legitimate inspection would have caught. I filed a BAR complaint. My BAR representative contacted Pedro directly, at which point Pedro became verbally abusive with a state employee and refused the refund he’d previously agreed to. I have since filed a complaint with the California Attorney Genera
