Brought my 2020 992 to Performance Technic in Fremont based on positive reviews on Rennlist and on Google. It was just for an oil change and brake fluid flush, so I expected a straightforward visit. Initial communication was great and they got me in the next day. The work was done quickly, but at pickup they couldn’t clear the service and oil notifications due to a scanner issue. They said they’d order a new one and have me come back the following week. No big deal. A week passed with no update. I called and was told the scanner hadn’t arrived but would be in the next week. This went on for about six weeks, with the same “next week” response each time. I had to call every time. By week six, I asked for a refund if it still wasn’t resolved. That same week, they suddenly had the scanner. Based on this experience, I can’t recommend the shop.

One of the best BMW Shops in the Bay Area! I had multiple BMW's serviced there, F82 M4, E92 M3, E38, E39, E53 etc. Brandon & the Technicians are awesome! Thank you.

I had my 330Ci E46 subframe reinforcement and bushings done here. This is an excellent enthusiast-focused shop. I received pictures along the way documenting progress on the project. The car handles very well with the new subframe bushings. The subframe reinforcement also looks great. I later returned to diagnose an exhaust pinging noise I was hearing at high rpm. With the data I provided, a compression test was performed and examination of the exhaust. They correctly diagnosed a clogged catalytic converter which is a pretty uncommon issue on e46. Ended up returning later for diagnosis of coolant loss and it ended up being the thermostat leaking a small amount of coolant only with the car running. Stewart water pump and thermostat installed same day at a competitive market rate.

I have a pretty high-mileage E90 M3 and P-Tech is the only place it goes for repair and maintenance. Brandon is very helpful and accommodating, and has helped me get out of a bind on a few occasions. They are an honest shop that will not overcharge you for work or double-dip on labor, and their work is extremely high quality. If you have a M car, this is where you want to bring it.

Really solid team over at Performance Technic! I recently took my E36 down for some transmission work among other things, and it was nothing short of a quality experience. Throughout the process, Brandon (Service Director) provided updates and feedback via email and phone calls. Additionally, he provided suggestions on wear items that looked to need refreshing, without trying to upsell me. A handful of my friends swear by this shop, and now I see why.
