My visit to Salas Auto Shop was one of (if not the) best experiences I’ve had with an auto repair shop. I was traveling, and a couple hundred miles from my usual auto repair shop, when my car started shaking caused by engine misfiring. This can cause major damage to the car if the misfiring is regular and you keep driving. My friend looked up auto shops, but we were hesitant to go somewhere we had never been and just found in a google search. Salas was so kind to us, calming my panicked voice on the phone and saying to bring it in and “leave the headache to them.” We found out when we got there that he had ordered the part as soon as we got off the phone and had it ready when we got there. They had the work done in about an hour, while we talked to the amazing woman who works at the front desk about her sunrise photography and living each day like it’s your birthday. They did not overcharge, and even slightly lowered the charge to match what he told me over the phone. When he was done, he test drove the car to make sure everything was working right, and even cleaned the windshield so we were safe driving the mountain road ahead. We aren't even from the area but my drivers side window fell off the track. Looked them up and they have good reviews because they are good. Got my window regulator and window motor fixed same day and had plenty of time to enjoy the rest of our vacation.

I was so worried to take my 06 prius in because I knew there was a lot wrong. Not only did Fidel send me pictures and explain each part that needed to be fixed, he was even able to do a little bit of body work on my car that needed a new bumper. I had had the body work appraised at a different place in town that was twice the price, so I'm so glad I found this place. The owner's wife is absolutely amazing too! Had my car back very quickly and great communication

I had a wonderful experience here with the owner Fidel! My car's battery was dead & I was driving around on a Sunday (of all days) looking for a mechanic to fix it. They were open and happy to help me at 8 am! It took him literally just 10 mins to switch my battery, all while maintaining a lovely conversation. The pricing was fair & reduced with my cash payment. This was honestly the best experience I've ever had at any shop, especially as a woman, he was so kind & helpful. I really appreciated how he explained to me the difference between a bad starter vs a bad battery, very helpful information for the future. I'll definitely be returning! He's very educated on Toyota's too, and went to school for other car brands as well.

I've experienced a lot of different mechanics and Salas is truly the best. Highly trustworthy, very thorough, and charges reasonable prices. Every time I've brought my car to him he recognizes the issue right away and says "I know what this is, I can fix this." Afterwards he shows and explains exactly what he repaired on the vehicle which is highly appreciated since a lot of mechanics just want to push you out the door once you're done. Salas has gone above and beyond expectations, I highly recommend to anyone looking for a good mechanic.
