I rarely leave reviews, but this shop absolutely earned one. As an owner-operator, I am extremely picky about who works on my truck. I don’t replace parts just because someone recommends it—I expect a proper inspection, accurate diagnosis, and honest recommendations. That’s exactly what I received here. The technicians performed a very thorough inspection and identified issues that other shops had either overlooked or never mentioned. They documented everything clearly, explained what required immediate attention and what could wait, and never tried to upsell unnecessary repairs. The quality of workmanship was excellent. Steering feels tight again, the truck drives noticeably better, and everything was completed professionally. Communication throughout the process was clear, and they kept me informed before performing additional work. It’s becoming harder to find truck repair shops that value honesty, experience, and attention to detail. This team does. If you’re an owner-operator looking for a shop that treats your truck as if it were their own, I highly recommend them. I’ll definitely be coming back for future maintenance and repairs.

First time dealing with this Mechanic, I like them the lady who works there. She was really nice. And very patient with me on the phone and the owner is a really amazing guy and very honest with a reasonable prices. I just moved from Chicago to Texas and I found my Mechanic. thank you, Pedro

Salazars is a great shop to go to. Pedro is my go to guy for everything. One of the best shops I have found. Always on point with everything and very attentive. Would highly recommend them to anyone I know

After having a yard jockey try to tear off my bumper with his open trailer door, I had to find a shop to repair the bent/cracked mounting bracket. Two shops said they couldn’t do the repair, and a dealer-body shop said they could not weld or repair the brackets, but would gladly order me new brackets and replace them in a month or two, and that they could remove the bumper, and I could drive without it, until the parts came in! I then found & called Salazar, and asked if they had anyone who could weld/fabricate and they said they did. As soon as I arrived and saw the statues in their yard, I knew I had come to the right place! I was very, very pleased with the entire experience. Pedro (the owner) saw what needed to be done i.e. to straighten & reinforce the brackets, and his son -the artist/welder- did the job quickly and efficiently, to include some very difficult ‘inside’ welds on the reinforcement plates. They had me back on the road in less than six hours, which is phenomenal, given that the bigger shop appointments were 2-3 weeks out! This tiny, busy shop is the real deal, they have skilled & knowledgeably mechanics that will do a better job, get you back on the road fa
