Avoid this shop like the plague. The engines they supposedly rebuild “to manufacturer specifications “ self destruct in a few miles. Then they give you the turnaround every time. They take no accountability for their mediocre work.

Brought an engine here for a rebuild in 2023. I was initially quoted one price, but the final cost at pickup was higher. After installation, the engine failed within a few miles due to bearing damage. They attributed it to overheating, which I strongly disagree with, as I closely monitored engine temps. I returned it in 2024 for warranty work and was still charged an additional $750. After reinstalling the engine, I immediately had no oil pressure. Upon disassembly of the oil pump, it was clear the pump assembly was incomplete—the spindle/drive component was missing a critical retaining/coupling piece (see photos). This resulted in no oil circulation and caused another complete engine failure. This points to a serious lack of quality control and assembly verification. Between inconsistent pricing, charging during warranty, and a critical assembly error that led to total engine loss, this was an extremely costly experience. I cannot recommend this shop to any one.

I've used the shop for many many years and I'm still pleased with the services. The guy's are straight forward and genuine. Great shop with very very few returns

Took them a Toyota 2f engine for a total rebuild. Are getting it back, I struggled with cooling issues and a miss. I took the head off and found that they installed the head gasket backwards, which caused no oil to reach the rocker assembly, galling the shaft and caused a stuck valve. Took it back, they did give me another gasket kit, and said they replaced the valved and looked it over. After 1000 miles, I have a blown head gasket. The leak down test showed I had 50% leakage. I pressure tested the valves and had major leaking happening at the valves. I took the head off, and removed a couple of valves. The seats were pitted in places and it looks like the valves were never lapped. Also noticed the valve seals were cracked and not installed properly. Make sure you know what you are getting.

Just started using SAAW just this year was a long time customer of duffins for my Subaru blocks, I must say Never have I seen a more accurate bore "piston to wall clearances" and such a perfectly round cylinder. Good work team! Thankyou
