I called to ask if they had outdoor gear, (as the name of the business implies) and was rudely told to go to big 5. Why name your business “Santa barbara outdoor gear” when you don’t carry outdoor gear and work on vehicles instead. I wouldn’t have even bothered to write this if the tone and attitude of the person on the phone wasn’t so abhorrent.

Hands down these guys are the best around! When it comes to your outdoor gear needs Casey and his crew know their stuff. They go above and beyond to make sure you’re dialed. Highly recommended!

I had the best experience coming here and learning about options to have an optimal outdoor adventure and experience. It's true, if you can dream it they can do it here. Casey clearly explained all choices and I was able to see all examples in person at the Goleta location. Seeing the ikamper rooftop tent in person is a must, the quality is above all others I've seen.

Went into SB outdoor gear to buy an ikamper for my Chevy tahoe. I absolutely love it. Casey showed me the best customer service. He also recommended so many options to make my Tahoe more functional and easy for when I take this truck out to go outdoors. I ended up upgrading to new wheels and tires and a leveling kit to make my off-road experience way more easy and fun. I have my LED lights I ordered from them on the way too. Can’t wait for these guys to install them. They’re the best around and I would 100% recommend them. Excited for many more projects in the future.
