I don’t know why I went back. I tried this place a few years ago and it destroyed my roof. I tried it again three days ago and it’s now twice as bad! See the captions in my photos. This is not sun damage. My car stays in a covered garage when not in use and only drives around SF. I also have tiny paint chips on the hood (not pictured). I selected the most basic carwash option each time. Stay away from this place for this reason alone, and if mgmt is reading, please let me know how you can make this right! On top of this damage, my other complaint is that I selected a carwash during my tank fill up. There were no prices (sneaky) and “ultimate” appeared to me to be the lowest tier wash based on the display. But on my receipt it had charged me $17. I realized my mistake and drove up to the carwash and asked the attendant if he could help me somehow use the code I already had to select the basic wash instead. I didn’t even care about a refund, I was just worried that ultimate would be even harsher on my car (than the basic option was a few years ago). He tried to understand but did not speak English, unfortunately, so I just placed a brand new order and spend another $10 for basic. S

The auto-cashier wouldn't accept my CHASE BANK card causing me to stall a line of cars that'd been flowing nicely. My car came out of their wash spotless with clear windows.

Car was still dirty after a $17 ultimate wash with visible and easily removable dirt from a snowy road. Asked for a rerun but manager was not helpful and quite rude and said it was as not possible.

If you need a speedy exterior wash you will have a real hard time finding a faster or more economical option than this new Shell Car Wash. Drive up, pay at the kiosk, and proceed into the car wash, you don’t even need to get out of your car. Enjoy the free show!
