Nice staff, fair prices and quick service!! They have a relaxing waiting space, bathroom was clean. Its cash only but have an ATM on location. Will gladly return for future services.

Just a comment and it’s truly sad. My dad went there a week ago, he parked , he walked over to the passenger side of his vehicle to get his registration to take and show and immediately was greeted with hostility and anger by the owner and another man next to him. My mom went to speak with them today just to clear this up . She was greeted by shops owner son, and he said that he’s dad is just like that . Meaning rude to his customers . My mom asked If it was because of my dad being Hispanic and he said that wasn’t it. That he treats everyone like that . I’m curious,If you’re a business owner and want to continue in business , being kind goes a long way . Based on the reviews we are not the first and the comments from whomever is in charge ,I’m expecting a defensive comeback which is fine just shows the character. I’m hoping that by this review the shops family can see no one wants to see their family being mistreated and disrespected like my father was. Edit since I can’t respond . I’m glad you responded. I’m glad it is noted on here so people can know how your business handles customers.

Went there about 2 weeks ago the guy asked what year my car was and i responded "a 96" and he said "it will be $90" and i asked "how long will it be?" And he said "every car takes about 15 minutes" (which is understandable) but than he let another guy go in-front of me because apparently they are a well know customer and than he parked another car behind him and said "you gotta get in line" and to be honest it sounded and smelled like he was burning the clutch, and my car is manual so i just left. Went down the street to the speedy gas station smog and they were friendlier and had way better service. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SMOG PLACE...NO SMOG PLACE HAS EVER CHARGED ME $90 AND I OWN 3 CARS THAT ARE 1997 and lower.

Super rude elder guy. Made an appt & he told me im wrong & he didn’t think so?! But he would go & check. So I said it’s okay & he goes go somewhere else. I’ve been here plenty times & this the first time someone has been rude & dismissive. Def liked coming here but no longer.

I have not had such a negative service experience in a long time, but Steve’s Auto managed to outdo themselves. The owner was rude, aggressive, unprofessional, and—based on my experience—appeared to be a scammer trying to upsell customers on nonexistent problems. I needed a smog check and a brake & light inspection. Steve’s Auto was recommended to me, so I made an appointment in advance. Even during the phone call, I was told they accept cash only and that the brake & light inspection would cost $375. When I arrived, it turned out that the brake & light technician was not even there, and they were “about to call him.” In the meantime, I was offered a smog check. I was confident my car was in good condition, but after about three minutes the owner claimed the car would fail the smog check due to some “errors.” He then said that diagnostics alone would cost $160, and that he would not fix the car anyway because he was busy and wanted me to leave the car there. When he noticed my shocked reaction, the owner became openly hostile, saying he didn’t like my face and that I could “get lost” and leave. Shocked by this behavior and confident in my vehicle’s condition, I told him I would
