I don’t leave reviews often, but Superior’s Auto Body in Chula Vista absolutely earned this one. My wife crashed my brand-new Land Rover Defender, and I was honestly worried it would never look the same again. I couldn’t have been more wrong. When I picked it up, it looked even better than the day I drove it off the dealership lot. I’m not exaggerating. The paint, the finish, the attention to detail—they even waxed it to perfection. The vehicle looked absolutely brand new. What really set them apart, though, was the communication. If you go there, ask for Andres. As far as I’m concerned, he’s the best. He never once avoided my calls. If he was helping another customer, he’d immediately send me a text letting me know he was busy and would call me back—and every single time, he did exactly that. That level of professionalism and respect is rare these days. The entire experience exceeded my expectations from start to finish. They treated my vehicle like it was their own, and the quality of the work speaks for itself. I would recommend Superior’s Auto Body to anyone without hesitation. I've visited them 3/4 times and literally have one negative thing toro say about them. They're not the best at calling you when they say they will. However, when you understand the volume of work they have, you have to understand. I grew up with mechanics so maybe I have a different perspective/appreciation for this issue. On with the good. They're solid. They won't BS you. They won't do work that isn't discussed with you. They're really personable. Once while waiting on their waiting room, I overheard the owner arguing with a vendor/supplier due to a bad part for a customer. He was going in hard on the vendor and it was kind of refreshingly great to hear/witness. Another moment, I had a radiator leak which turned out to be a loose hose. I was prepared to pay for it (like under $100) but the owner said not to charge me. At times they can be pricy and other times, not. So I can't really speak to that. But again, overall they're a solid option and a great team and I'm thankful to the work they've done on my car.

It is so hard to find an honest auto shop and I was very fortunate to find Superior Automotive Repair. They helped me thru every step of the process and were straight up when it came to cost. Thank you guys.

SCAM! I took my Audi here, and they diagnosed that it had oil leaking from the upper timing cover and oil filter housing. I replaced both and it is still leaking. Turns out, I went to another somebody else and it was in fact not leaking from the upper timing cover but leaking from the crankshaft seal. This place doesn’t diagnose vehicle thoroughly. Don’t trust them.

We arrived back in Canada!! Could not be more grateful for such a helpful place, George Sam and the team worked relentlessly all day during our visit to find the best possible option of saving our van so we could make the 2000 mile trip home to Canada! After a few issues with the van and a breakdown we took it to this garage by chance and it was the best decision we made, they were very informative, they worked really quickly and priced everything reasonably. They were honest with the prospects but still gave us great advice both as mechanics and as good people. In the end after a long day of debating we decided enough had been done to try and rescue the van and we decided to take it home, low and behold it made the whole journey back without fault! Could not recommend enough, it will be our garage of choice if we are in the area and should be for anyone who is passing through, honest, reliable and quick! Thanks guys!
