When my parents’ patio sliding door glass was accidentally shattered by their gardener’s hedge trimmer, I immediately started researching companies and reading reviews on Yelp and Google. That’s when I found The Glass Guru of Torrance — and I’m so glad I did! Corey returned my call within minutes after I left a message and even came out personally to inspect the job and provide an estimate. He was incredibly professional, knowledgeable, honest, and patient in explaining our options. He gave us two choices: 1. Replace the glass, install new rollers, and replace the 30-year-old screen. 2. Replace the entire sliding door unit with a brand-new frame, tracks, door, and screen. I also received estimates from larger well-known companies like Renewal by Andersen and The Home Depot, but their prices were significantly higher and lead times were 4–8 weeks out. After thinking it through, replacing glass in a 30-year-old door that barely rolled and had a broken lock no longer made sense, so I called Corey back and ordered the complete new sliding door unit. We recently had our semi frameless shower door installed by Glass Guru and had a great experience from start to finish. The team was professional, punctual, and took the time to fully explain the installation process so we knew exactly what to expect. They were detail-oriented and clearly cared about the quality of their work. We originally opted out of the seal, but they were kind enough to come back later and help us get it set up. You can barely even see it—it looks seamless! We’re very happy with the final result and would definitely recommend Glass Guru to anyone looking for quality service and craftsmanship.

Had a terrible experience from beginning to end with Corey at The Glass Guru of Torrance. First, they bait and switched on pricing. Quoted me something on the phone and then more in person. I then asked if they would give a discount if I paid cash. Corey Corey said that what he just quoted me was the cash price, even though he never mentioned it, and then proceeded to say that if I wanted to pay with a credit card he would charge me surcharge fee. I didn't feel like searching for another glass man since I needed to get the service completed quickly, so I reluctantly agreed. I should've gone with my instincts. When his group came to complete the service, I was on a work call so I didn't have the time to check the service after they were done. They left broken glass all over my kids, playroom, and all over my front yard. They didn't even put something on the floor to collect the glass that would break and never bothered to pick up the broken glass. I spent our collecting tiny pieces of glass from inside and outside my house.. As many other reviewers have stated, Corey is arrogant, rude and disrespectful. You have been warned.

I cannot say enough about Corey and The Glass Guru of Torrance. We are a military family currently renting out our home in the South Bay when we were told our glass shower door was sagging at the hinges. The vendor who installed it blew us off for days, eventually totally ghosting us. Corey, meanwhile, had our shower fixed within hours!! Do not hesitate to reach out to this team - they take great pride in their work and show extra care for military, police officers, firemen, teachers and service personnel.

11/18/2025 Called The Glass Guru at 8:41am for a quote. At 11:10am they were finished with the install. Corey and his team were great. Very professional and the communication was outstanding. I was expecting the total for the repair of my bedroom window to be a lot higher in price. The past few days were rainy and the wettest it's been for so.cal in a while and there were no signs that it was going to stop. I thought for sure there was going to be an added cost because Corey's crew had to come out in the rain amd work. To my surprise the value I received on the work performed was excellent! If you are looking for fast, honest, and great work. Don't hesitate to call Corey at The Glass Guru's of Torrance.
