This is the most honest car mechanic I have ever been to. I came in due to a problem with my suspension, he took his time to thoroughly diagnose the issue (the control arm was a bit rusty) was very honest that it did not need to be replaced and not charge me due to the lack of any findings. Probably one of the mechanics I’ve been to. I highly recommend.

Customers beware called Total today for ignition/starting diagnosis testing. A guy with heavy accent proceeded to tell me that it was a computer problem (not) without knowing the complete symptoms. He also told me the job would be very, very expensive that he would start by charging me for 4 or more diagnostic hours. The strangest call I have ever had. No thank you. Nice try, you were unwelcoming and painted a very very expensive computer problem without a diagnosis which it was not. You stated it was a very very computer problem without ever seeing the car. No, I would never trust you.

I had a great experience with Toral Auto! We took our minivan to Miguel for repairs, including to replace the radiator and struts. He got the work done fast, and at a very fair price. When I picked up the car, he opened it up and showed me everything. It's been a couple weeks and so far so good! Car is running great! Miguel is friendly and easy to work with. He provided a detailed professional quote ahead of the work. The repairs are under warranty, and he's part of a network in the Bay Area so that the car can be taken to a number of places if there are any issues (I don't anticipate there will be). Note: the shop doesn't have its own customer parking, besides the garages where the work is done. It's squeezed between two other shops, so if Miguel sees you when you arrive, he may have you pull in front of the driveway--otherwise street parking is available.

Forget all other mechanics and come here. He is simply the most honest man to work with. For simple diagnostics he didn't charge a fee ( most places won't talk without a fee ). My check engine light was on and he called it exactly as he saw it. Reset the lights ( because it was a glitch, nothing was wrong ). He said he was just happy to help everyone with their card, didn't ask for anything. I also had an oil change to get done. He gave me an honest price for an oil change and I just had to go with him on the spot. Going to come back here for all my auto needs. Hard to find a trustworthy mechanic. Thanks Miguel..
