Torrance Transmission Service has more than four decades of experience providing automotive services to Torrance, CA and the Greater South Bay. Since 1976, our family-owned business has offered expert auto repair services at affordable prices. We offer free estimates, late night pickups, same-day servicing, fleet service and phone payments.

Dropped off our Lexus gs 200t at 8.30am for an Engine oil, transmission flush and all four shocks. Eric and his team finished all the same day and we picked the car up at 4pm. Fantastic service and great pricing compared to the dealership around the corner. We also saw their work on classic cars they do and will be dropping off our 1967 Ford Mustang for the same maintenance next week. Thanks again and keep up the wonderful customer service you provide!!!

I brought my 2000 Mazda Miata to Torrance Transmission Service for a disappearing clutch fluid issue. They quickly diagnosed the problem and replaced the slave cylinder for a very fair price, but I noticed a persistent rattle in 1st and 2nd gear afterward. When I returned, Eric and the team was incredible. Instead of trying to sell me a new master cylinder or a full clutch, they actually took the time to do a proper road test, identified the 'noise' as just a few loose components around the transmission, and tightened everything up for free. It’s rare to find a specialist shop with this level of integrity and diagnostic patience. Highly recommend for any manual transmission needs in the South Bay!

Called Eric after long thanksgiving weekend. Had a really bad transmission fluid leak due to a few pan bolts being stripped. He got me in and out that same day, within two hours, even though he had a full shop. I can't say how thankful I am. This vehicle is my home on wheels and Eric went out of his way to help me! Also, I felt the price was fair. Thanks again! Highly recommend this shop!

I've been coming to Eric for over three years now he has done custom as well as maintenance work on my truck. I can trust Eric and his team of AAA mechanics to do the job right the first time every time. His rates are very reasonable. Eric is very understanding when I make my appointments I always have to wait for my truck and Eric is fine with that most places frown on that they don't want you to see what they are doing or not doing. Eric is trustworthy I never question his workmanship on my truck he dose the things most mechanics won't do the little things he takes care of with no charge. Do yourself a favor bring your vehicle to Torrance Transmission and see Eric, you will not be disappointed.
