The owner was very honest and explained to me the details behind a transmission problem. He was also very followed up with me very fast.

Jose did me rightious!!!!....i like this guy!! I felt he was honest!!! And he cut me a deal. I expected to spend more than i was charged, A LOT MORE!!!!

In the state of California, you need to have a bureau of automotive repair license From the bureau of automotive repairs. Trans pros had their license revoked back in 2020 . This shop is working with the bureau of automotive repairs license, which is against the law . I took my truck to this man to have my engine rebuilt, and he did everything but rebuild my engine. He gave me bogus receipts from a machine shop ( Motor machine and supply) That never did any machining or provided anything for my truck. He also gave me receipt receipts from Cimarron engine components. I have an email from the president of Cimarron stating he didn’t know work or sell any parts for my truck. He was open here at 130 E. 17th St. in national city California. I took him to court and I won. He was to pay me back on money plus interest. He has done nothing I took him in to do a dead evaluation exam and he lied on that. The evaluation exams are done under oath. This man does not have any integrity at all. He closed up his shop here in San Diego and reopened in Oxnard under the same name. He didn’t think I would find him, but I did. Beware people this guy is a lowlife. When I get done, he won’t have a business

A friend of mine recommended Trans Pro for a timing chain job I needed done on my Xterra. I can't tell you how happy I am with this place. I've been a mechanic in the military for 8 years and this shop did excellent work for a great price. They were flexible with the work I wanted done and didn't try to sell me on anything extra. It looks like they may have even fixed a valve cover leak without charging me. I highly recommend them and will definitely go back for any future work.

Jose the owner is amazing. Overhauled my transmission seven months ago. Check engine turned on. It was a solenoid error in trans. Took it back and Jose didn't question much.. other than asking for the receipt to look at the mileage. Proceeded to fix it and off I went. No hassle... great customer service.
