Chris does great work. He had to have been born with a wrench in his hand. I have known him since he was like 10. I have known a lot of car nuts having been involved in racing for 40 yrs. Chris tops the top 5 regarding VWs.

Forgive my delay on posting, backed out and lost My Story! Here goes again: I was referred to Chris @Twisted VW Customs by some mutual friends and fellow puro #SanAntonioAirCoolers. The guys at Twisted VW Customs are very knowledgeable and trustworthy! They are located just past Foster Rd on 90E and are equipped to handle ANY Classic VW Repair or Restoration. They have in-house Paint and Body, a hydraulic lift for under vehicle access, and passionate/masterful "Gear Heads". Here is everything they did for me on my 1973 2.0l (pancake engine) Dallas Cowboys VW Bus: - Addressed Alternator Power Issue - Set Timing - Replaced Master Cylinder and Both Front Calipers - Bled and Adjusted Brakes (Stopping on a dime for the first time in over 15 years) - Installed 130mm Clutch Kit - Replaced Rear Main Seal, Crankshaft Seal, and Transmission Axle Seals (Also first time I have no noticeable leaks under my bus!!!) "I'm Back in the Saddle Again!" Just in time to hand over the keys to my 2013 VW 2.5L Beetle to my 16yo son! I SINCERELY THANK Chris and company and HIGHLY RECOMMEND Twisted VW Customs for ANY of your project needs; no job too big or small!

Not sure why the 4.7 because EVERYONE here gave it a 5! NOBODY ELSE DOES VW WORK LIKE CHRIS! He's talented, honest, kindn and more than fair in his pricing. He knows and understands EVERYTHING about air cooled VW's - inside & out! He even makes house calls on Thursdays! These guys are absolute masters of their craft! They literally live, sleep and breath aircooled VW's!!
