I had a great experience with West Houston Auto AC Repair. Efren was very friendly, knowledgeable, informative, and responsive. I appreciate the transparency as well. I was sent updates with photos throughout the entire process of getting my evaporator core replaced. I was also educated on making sure to replace my cabin filters more frequently in order to avoid having to do this again. Pricing was also fair, which is the initial draw to coming to this shop. I was also very relieved to know that this team was able to work on German cars, Audis specifically, which I have come to find is more of a special niche that requires more extensive training and certifications in the automotive repair world. I’m so happy to get my AC back and running properly before peak summer heat in Houston, Texas. I feel confident in being able to push this car for several more years, after all, I’m just a girl.

I found Efrain on Facebook marketplace and thank goodness I took the chance because he not only fixed my ac on my 2012 Honda civic Ex , he helped me understand the component that make the ac blow cold and the machine he used . He was nice enough to let me observe what he was doing and that alone gave me confidence that he is a good man. Don’t have to deal with a service advisor , just straight to the mechanic . So yea got my Freon recharged so we shall see if it holds up . I drive the car maybe once or twice a week so it should hold up for a while unless there is a leak somewhere (hopefully not ). lol . Saved some $ . Will recommend to my family and friends. Thank you Efrain

After visiting other mechanics who couldn't diagnose the A/C problem on my Hyundai Sonata 2021, I found this shop through Google, and I'm so glad I did. Efrain identified the issue within minutes—it was a faulty A/C relay. He honestly advised me to purchase the original relay from the Hyundai dealer for the best long-term reliability. What impressed me even more was that he installed a temporary relay so I could continue using my A/C while waiting for the original part to arrive. That level of honesty and customer care is hard to find these days. Once I got the OEM relay, the issue was resolved quickly, and my A/C has been working perfectly ever since. Honest, affordable, and looks out for customers best interest. I have an old 1990 Honda CRX with a bad compressor. I went through 2 remanufactured compressors and on my third because they suck. My old car doesn’t make OEM ac compressors no more and are discontinued. Efrain could have took a lot of money from me but he didn’t. Hoping my third remanufactured last longer. Will be back again! haha I just hope later than sooner.
