Bert’s Transmission did a fantastic job on my 2015 XF Jaguar. I bought my transmission kit brought it to them. They did a fantastic job. I didn’t have any problem with it after they put it on. They did exactly what they said. The price was right. They are great team and Professionals. I recommend them to my friends and family, and I will come back again

Save yourself time and money and bring your car here first. I was having issues, or what I thought were issues, with my transmission/engine. I took it to a corporate shop first for the free testing, and they provided a report but wanted to charge an additional fee to find out what was wrong. I didn’t have a great feeling after reading reviews, and the fact that the photo of the shop online didn’t even come close to matching what it looked like in person didn’t help. Luckily, I found Bert’s Gene Brown. After explaining my situation, Tony was awesome in breaking down the process and setting realistic expectations. They tested it for 2-3 days and couldn’t find anything wrong — in fact, their testing showed different results compared to the first shop. They could have easily made something up and I would have been none the wiser, but they didn’t, because Tony didn’t want to charge me for something I didn’t need. I’m not a car guy by any means; it’s just not in my wheelhouse. But finding a business that still cares about people is rare in today’s society, when everybody seems to be in it for themselves. They are very quick reliable service!! My husband had called to get a quote to see how much a new transmission would be for my 2015 Nissan Altima and the cost of a tow. About 5k for the transmission plus a 3yr warranty and 130 for a tow (i live about 30mins from the shop). Both very great prices!! Called it in to get picked up, they came within the 30mins on 05/11/2026 and EVERYTHING was done by 5/20/2026!! It was actually done on the 15th but we had to get my wheel bearing done as well. We were expecting it to be done within a month or 2 but for it to be done within a week was AMAZING!! Went to go pick it up and drove it home and i gotta say my car has never driven more beautifully. Both Bert and Tony were very communicative and informative. They called my husband to let him know about any problems and asking to move forward on fixing them. Which is great because most places go ahead and move forward without letting you know but not them. They wanted to make sure we were going to be satisfied with their work towards the end. I have to say we both are very satisfied especially when we found upon pick up that they washed and detailed my car!! She looked shiny and brand new :,) I ha

Times like today I wish I could rate more than 5 stars. Bert was extremely helpful from the time I first called him, from the time I left his shop. Bert helped me out and got me in and out within 1.5 hours for a transmission flush. Honest and fair pricing. I would never want to use another shop and recommend everyone to use this one. I did not feel like they were trying to screw me over, in fact I felt very welcomed. By the way Bert, the flush fixed my shudder. She’s running like new now! Thank you and your team for the honest fair work. You really helped me out and saved the day!

✮✮✮✮✮Above‑and‑Beyond Service. Bert's Gene Brown Transmission Shop went above & beyond for me. They repaired the transmission on my 2016 Ford Escape, & their communication throughout the entire process was excellent. The management team is friendly & truly committed to taking care of their customers. Tony & the owner’s wife, both were incredibly kind & helpful. They towed my car from a mechanic’s shop to theirs, and when the repair was finished, they picked me up from home & drove me to the shop so I could get my car. That Level of Service is RARE these days & meant so much to me. The work was done professionally & they made a stressful situation so much easier. As a bonus, when you post a Google review, they give you a FREE oil change. Did I mention my car was SPOTLESS when I picked it up???
