Cris Gutierrez is the only guy I will call from now on. He saved me over $8000. Extreme transparency and honesty lead to fast and reliable work that allowed my family to keep our budget intact. Even over fourth of July weekend, they had the vehicle back to me inside of three days.

Everyone needs an auto shop they can trust. Gene Brown’s at Brook Hollow and 281 in my go-to. Cristobal Gutierrez runs the show. He and his team are dedicated to getting your vehicle repaired and they are not looking to get over on you. I bought an old pickup for my son. They did a thorough inspection and figured out we needed new steering, upper and lower control arms, alternator, AC, flux capacitor, dilithium chamber, warp core (maybe not those last three). But Cris has the hook-up on parts and his guys don’t lollygag when it comes to labor. I will NEVER go anywhere else!

Outstanding & Honest Service! I have been coming to Gene Brown Transmission (Brook Hollow location) for four years now, and they have handled repairs on three of my vehicles. Every single visit has been an absolute pleasure. What sets this team apart is their integrity. They are incredibly honest and provide outstanding service every time. I highly recommend Gene Browns Transmission to anyone who wants the job done right for a fair price and wants in done in a reasonable amount of time. The owner is very professional, cares about his reputation, customers, and their satisfaction. I had a shot transmission on this 7.3 powerstroke and they had me going in short order. Thanks guys! This place is the absolute best place to go to for any Auto type repairs. I have 2021 GMC Sierra Truck and I was told by the dealership that I would need a 6000.00 repair on my trucks transmission and that it could take up to a month to get to the truck and I would have to leave it with them and they would get to it when they could. I was fortunate to find Gene Browns transmission and took the truck to them to see if they could look at it to repair. Luckily Chris was working that day and he informed me he could get to my truck the next day and informed me that he would first pull the pan on the transmission and see if there were any shavings on the pan. He discovered that they were not and informed me that he would just change the oil and lubricate and see if that fixed the problems with the tugging of the truck. Chris did exactly that and saved me about 5500.00. His expertise and knowledge of auto mechanics were beyond description. I am once again needing my brake pads replaced and the truck is there again for them to take care of that issue as well. I will not let any other auto shop work on my truck. This is an honest group of auto mechanics that are not just out to make a buck
