We purchased two electric vehicles within the same month and our existing 120-volt garage outlet was delivering a charge rate of only 4 miles of range per hour — meaning an overnight charge still left both vehicles well below full capacity by morning after our typical daily driving. The electrician installed a 100-amp sub panel in the garage fed by a new 100-amp feeder from the main house panel, wired two dedicated 50-amp circuits to Level 2 EVSE outlets on opposite sides of the garage, and programmed both chargers through the manufacturer app to stagger their peak draw periods so both vehicles charge at full speed without exceeding the sub panel's capacity simultaneously. Both vehicles now wake up every morning at 100% state of charge regardless of how far we drove the previous day, our utility confirmed the time-of-use charging schedule is correctly reducing our peak demand charges, and the permit and inspection were completed and filed with the city within one week of installation.

I called when lights flickered during rain. The technician traced a loose outdoor connection and repaired it. Storms no longer cause flickering.
