I had to get a smog check & the staff here was super friendly & attentive.. they gave me a 20 minutes waiting period but completed it right after the car they were working on when I got there.. it took less than 10 minutes.. they're awesome!!!

I recently visited this oil change service and found that, overall, they provide good service. However, I had an issue with their pricing practice. When I brought my car in, they gave me a quote based on their assessment, including the type of oil needed. I agreed to the quote, and they began working on my car. After the job was done, they informed me that my car needed more oil than initially estimated, which increased the final cost. While a small increase may not be a problem, it was confusing because I assumed the original quote reflected the total cost before tax and included any other fees. In my experience, a better practice would be to provide the full, accurate cost upfront—including the exact amount of oil required and any other applicable fees—so there are no surprises. Transparency in pricing would prevent confusion and build trust with customers like me.

It is nice. There is no food that you can buy inside. I was looking for snacks, but they did not have any. It is on the cheaper side, so that is cool. It is not dirty and not very busy. They sell propane, and they will do oil and smog changes for you.

Got my smog inspection done here with Daniel. He’s such a kind and professional mechanic—very quick, helpful, and honest. He could have charged me for a supposed leak, but it turned out to be just a loose cap. He also helped me install my license plates as a courtesy. Really appreciated his service!

I brought my extremely reliable Tacoma in for a simple coolant flush before a 200-mile trip. I’d never had any overheating issues, and I even asked the head mechanic to check that the cooling system looked good before I left the shop — he said it was in great shape. I’ve made the drive Santa Barbara to LA drive hundreds of times without any problems. But about 100 miles into this trip, my truck suddenly overheated. I had to get it towed home. Now I might be facing a blown head gasket — a major, expensive repair — all because of this service. Maybe they used the wrong coolant, didn’t refill it properly, or somehow clogged the system. I don’t know what they did, but it was something seriously wrong. Bottom line: go somewhere else. Their negligence may have permanently damaged my engine.
