I was purchasing a MINI Cooper from a private seller and spent some time researching places that could perform a thorough pre-purchase inspection. When I arrived, Jon had both a digital report ready to send to me and a physical copy. He took the time to walk me through each area of concern, showed me the issues directly on the car, and explained which items could wait and which ones should be addressed in the short term. I’m writing this review because I believe there are many people in a situation similar to mine—and because my satisfaction with this place has been truly significant. My car is a 2019 BMW X7, a model known for having its share of issues. I purchased it all cash, so walking away from it or simply replacing it hasn’t really been an option for me. Over the past few years, I’ve dealt with countless breakdowns and accidents. Well let me tell you about Irvine Motor Werk as a So-Cal home shop that was referred to me after the BMW dealership wasn't helpful. Jon and the guys at Irvine Motor Werk made me feel welcomed to each step of way in troubleshooting and fixing my 2011 535i bimmer back to life as it was not allowing me to pass smog, drive-train malfunction was just some the issues the dealership quoted me outrageous pricing after the $500 diagnostic price. Owner Jon is a breeze to work with. Techs there are amazing. Got a new radiator, tires with a perfect alignment, and new rod bearings. Mario caught a previous mistake that would have destroyed my new LSD. Can’t thank him enough for a thorough look over.
