would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any repairs at Kwick Kar Garage gfrrenville Ave near NWH I’ve personally taken my own vehicle there several times without a problem. However, I recently sent my son there for his vehicle registration, and he was told there was an issue with his OBD connection that prevented them from completing the state inspection/registration process. He was told it would cost approximately $135 to fix. I told him not to authorize the repair and to take the vehicle to the Ford dealership for a second opinion. Ford checked the vehicle, told him there was nothing wrong with the connection, and completed what he needed in about 15 minutes. What concerns me most is that a younger or elderly customer might simply assume they have no choice but to pay for a repair like this. When my son told the employee he was going to Ford instead, his reaction made the situation even more concerning. I can only speak about our experience, and I’m not saying this happens to everyone. The staff are kind and listen to your needs. If something is wrong they'll tell you and try to work in solutions. I like coming here, as someone who does everything possible to avoid thinking about my car having them be able to help and not be condescending is a blessing. I’ll be honest—I was a little hesitant to come here after seeing some of the reviews, but my experience has been completely the opposite. I’ve now brought three of my vehicles to Kwik Kar Auto Center for state inspections and have also had oil changes done here, and every visit has been quick, easy, and genuinely pleasant. The staff has always been friendly, helpful, and respectful of my time—I’ve consistently been in and out faster than expected. What really stood out to me is the lack of pressure. No upselling, no long list of “recommended” repairs, and no feeling like I’m being talked into anything unnecessary (which, unfortunately, has been my experience at other shops—even dealerships). I can’t speak to others’ experiences, but mine have been consistently positive, and I’ll absolutely continue coming back.

Came in for an oil change left with a vehicle over heating with no coolant. Came back to ask questions on why my vehicle was drained of coolant and because I declined a flush in my opinion it was the cause of the over heating. And also the brand values was not honored along with paying for the oil change my oil filter was not changed. I was charged an additional fee for a diagnostic for a message to be relayed that I need a water pump and thermostat in the price range of 1150 and all of a sudden I had a coolant leak neither was true. My service experience was very unsatisfactory. The trust level for good work is none existent.
