My 2015 Honda Fit broke down in Bakersfield over Thanksgiving, and I ended up having it towed to Quality Transmission. Rodney gave me a fair price on the transmission repair and set me up with a warranty through LKQ, which gave me confidence in the work being done. He got the job done quickly, and the car has been running great for the past couple of months. I also appreciated that he took the time to talk through whether it made sense to repair the car or move on from it. His practical guidance was genuinely helpful during a stressful situation. Overall, I had a very good experience. Quality Transmission delivered solid, reliable work at an honest price, and I’d recommend Rodney’s shop to anyone needing transmission repairs in the Bakersfield area.

2013 GMC Sierra 170K miles I knew it was time to get transmission rebuilt or replaced. Quality Transmission was recommended to me by a friend. These guys are amazing!! Needed a Transmission for my 2002 Avalanche and they had the best price in town. I was just gonna buy and leave, as I'm a DIYer. But Rodney took the time to walk me through some steps on what to expect and things to look out for. He also told me he'd be happy take a look for FREE after the install to see if anything was missed. I brought it back and he and his team took a look and found a few things that I hadn't noticed. True to his word, it was free of charge. I've been telling everyone about this shop now and my experience with them. People always ask me for car repair advice and I will definitely recommend Quality Transmission for any transmission jobs. Again, this shop is the best.
