Came to get an alignment on my leveled Tundra. Was told later they couldn't align it because the tie rod ends and steering rack needed replacement, then proceeded to charge me $200+ for the diagnosis which wasn't asked for. Then I was told it would cost over $4,000 and something like 14 plus hours to replace the steering rack, a job he said they don't really like doing. I have a 2wd Tundra. That quote would be understandable for a 4wd Tundra, but not a 2wd. They are knowledgeable about lifts for specific applications, tire sizes, wheel spacing, etc. That gives them 2 stars.

After calling the other top five custom lifts, suspension and off-road businesses around the Bay Area. I knew that SWAT customs was the right place to go. I spoke with Rob on the phone. He was extremely knowledgeable patient and was easy to work with. He helped me through the whole process. I’ve lifted 4runner’s before but this time I lifted a GX470 Lexus. He gave me the exact recommended lift and it turned out. Perfect I’m so happy with the way my GX 470 came out. It’s amazing the workers there are very experienced and hard-working. Truly amazing experience altogether. I absolutely recommend them if you want to get your lift suspension done or any kind of modifications in general they do offer other custom modifications. I’d recommend them for anything that they offer. Thanks again.

I brought my 2003 Yukon XL to SWAT Customs in Fremont, CA to do a boatload of work. They were the only shop that truly took the time to walk me through options for lift kits, suspension, lights, brakes, etc to make my vehicle an overland beast. Rob, the manager, is super knowledgeable and answered my long list of questions during the process without any issue. I would highly recommend this shop for your truck!

The guys at Swat Customs do really great work! Highly recommend them. Rob was very knowledgeable and helpful in educating me on lifts for my Gladiator and selecting the proper wheels and tires for it within my budget since this was my first time. I am very happy with the outcome and look forward to doing future modifications with them soon!
