Worst service ever. Dropped my car off at 8am and they didn’t begin the diagnosis until 3:00. Horrible service and would never recommend

This was the worst stressful experience I’ve ever endured at a mechanic. They charged me nearly $4,000 to service my truck and they never fixed the leak and they wanted to charge me even more money to redo the work they were supposed to do the first time. Todd was my point of contact and he knew I was going on a 10,000 mile trip and to fix all leaks and they didn’t fix it. I wouldn’t even recommend this company bcz they are a complete RIP OFF!!!

Tried charging $800 for labor. The whole time I waited for my car they were talking about their support to Trump and Ice agents. Horrible experience. Glad I took my business elsewhere

This was the first time I have been to The Auto Shop and I can honestly say that the owner and his team are absolutely wonderful. I can confidently say that this is the only place I will be going from now on for my vehicle. They were very professional with excellent customer service. I will be recommending this place to everyone I know. The cost was very reasonable and my car was done in a very timely manner.

I have a 2000 and a 97 Mustang that I have had to have lots of repairs done on because the prior owners stripped them for parts or outright installed the wrong parts because they didn’t know what they were doing. I knew they were project cars when I bought them, but they were both in running condition and I didn’t want to see them end up in a junkyard. When I bought them I lived in the Bay Area and the mechanics there were atrocious! Half the time they couldn’t even tell me what the problem was. Then 8 years ago I moved to Modesto and after trying a few different shops here, I found The Auto Shop and I don’t take my cars anywhere else unless it’s something they don’t work on like convertible tops. Todd is amazing and incredibly knowledgeable and honest. He won’t try to charge you for repairs you don’t need and will tell you exactly what the problem is and give you the price up front. If he finds something unexpected, he lets you know so you can decide if you want him to take care of it or not. If it’s a simple fix, lets you know that too.He always charges a fair price and does fantastic work. My Mustangs now run better than they ever have by a mile! I guarantee you that if y
