I’ve had a great experience working with the team at Unplugged Performance in Fremont. I especially want to recognize Bennett, Derek, and Michael for the level of customer service and support they’ve provided. I had a persistent suspension/clunking issue on my Model Y that wasn’t particularly easy to diagnose. Rather than brushing it off or simply throwing parts at the problem, the team continued working through it, troubleshooting different components and ultimately identifying an issue with the lower control arm. After replacing it, the clunk was eliminated. What I appreciate most is their willingness to stand behind their work and keep working toward a solution. Bennett, Derek, and Michael have all been knowledgeable, professional, responsive, and genuinely interested in getting the car right. I’ve done a number of upgrades to my Model Y, and having a local shop with this level of Tesla-specific knowledge is extremely valuable. I highly recommend the Fremont team and appreciate everything they’ve done for me and my car.

The TLDR: Go here. Give these guys your business. I don't often write over-the-top reviews of automotive businesses but UP really delivers. I took a few months researching a wheel set upgrade for my Tesla Model S Plaid with 21" staggered wheels. The car came with the high perf Michelin Pilot Sport summer tires, which are some of my favorite tires of all time. My OEM rims (which are really banged up) now have Pirelli all-weather tires. So I decided to mount the Michelins on new rims. After comparing hundreds of options. I settled on the UP-05s in titanium. Not the cheapest rim set but not even close to the most expensive I considered. After driving them a week I can't say enough good about them -- I'll write a detailed six month review. More importantly, the professional service and customer care I got from the whole UP organization was absolutely 5+. Special shout outs to Tori(sales), Bennet(CS), Junior(atech) and Love my new wheels, love this place. Love these guys.

Thank you Unplugged Performance of Fremont CA for installing my dual rate linear moderate lowering springs and billet adjustable rear camber arm set on my 2023 Model Y Performance. I got the springs installed 11 days ago so the car is still setting but the look right know is sporty and little aggressive. The ride feels more comfortable and the handling is so much better. As soon as sat in the car I could tell instantly it was lower and when I started driving it I can feel it was more firmer. To me I think the car looks perfect and glad I went with the moderate version instead of the low. The install was very professional. There was no noises squeaks rattles or any clunking just smooth driving. Eric and Michael were very helpful and it was worth the 2.5 hour drive for them to install the springs and camber set. I highly recommend Unplugged Performance of Fremont CA to anyone who wants their car done the right way when it comes to suspension upgrades.

The UP Fremont location did an amazing job with my 2025 Model Y. Pairing their Moderate Dual Rate Lowering Springs with the 19” UP-RW Wheels was definitely the right choice. Thanks to the super friendly and informative staff for helping me build this Tesla to perfection!!

​I took my car to Unplugged Performance for a major overhaul—upgrading the stock suspension, brakes, sway bar, wheels, and tires—and the results are absolutely incredible. The car rides and handles so much better now; the difference is night and day. ​The entire team is highly professional, and a huge shoutout to Bennett for providing great service throughout the process.
