Our son had a transmission cooler line bust, and leak all the fluid. The car was not drivable and needed to be towed. Better Transmissions San Antonio provided excellent customer service over the phone. There was great communication. I actually live out of town and my sons live in San Antonio. Everything was handled very professionally, and the price was excellent. The turnaround time for the repair was great. After the repair was finished, they even allowed us to pick up the car until the next day. Thank you for helping us with our sons vehicle. We look forward to servicing the rest of our cars with you all.

Having issues with my GMC Yukon not disengaging 4x4. Brought vehicle over to Renee on recommendation of another auto shop and best decision ever! Renee and his staff were quick, courteous and able to diagnose the issue easily. Vehicle returned to my wife; happy wife, happy life! Would absolutely recommend these guys! Gracias Renee & Jake!!

Rene and his son from Better Transmissions made the process stress free. They had a whole transmission in within 5 days. Rene also made me aware of other issues he found while the transmission was out and gave me great pricing to repair it while he was there. I have not had such great service like this in a long time. Excellent service!!! The transmission on my car finally went out, and they helped me out with a custom transmission rebuild, torque converter servicing as well as a new motor mount, which i got a deal on. My car is driving perfectly as it used to, and I am so beyond grateful for the guys here at Better Transmission. I got a free tow with my service, and they were amazing at communicating with me about everything and answered all my questions as well as being patient with me as I was curious about everything. 10/10 service! I recommend this place for your transmission servicing.

I had the bad experience of my transmission not shifting anymore. After calling other shops in town I choose to call Better Transmission, do to their friendly approach on the phone and from the many great reviews this shop has. Rene helped me from the tow in till the job was finished. I'm not one to fill out reviews but I had too just to let other customers know this is a shop you can trust and rest assured the work will be done right. The tow was free, the inspection was free, and the price I received was much lower then I thought it would be. I had called the dealer before I called anyone and was shocked at the price I received. Unlike the dealer Rene only charges for the parts inside that are worn or damaged. The dealers price is for a totally rebuild transmission, that's why they can give a price over the phone. I received the same warranty the dealer offered a 12 month 12000 mile. I would recommend this shop to family, friends, and strangers. If you want your job done right at a great price take it to Better Transmission...
