I cant say enough on how great these guys are. I have a 2016 BMW 535i that had a bad transmission. Luis and his team went above and beyond finding me a transmission that my extended warranty approved of. They were able to get it ordered, applied and, programmed all earlier than quoted. Staff at Star Central Transmission were polite and professional! I got a new Transmission and all the while my vehicle was with them they did keep me updated on where they were with the process of ordering, receiving the parts and when it was finished. Started to look at my transfer case but noticed my tire sizes were different from front to back and could be throwing my gear ratios off, so they suggested that I replace the tires first as a more inexpensive option. They easily could have taken advantage of the situation. I would use them again. They also communicate with you about what’s happening unlike other shops.

My experience at Star Transmission was a great one. I was being told my wife's transmission from her nissan murano broke down due to a decfect but was not under warranty anymore. (World Car Nissan I35) They tried to rob us blind. Nissan was charging over 7,000. After taking it to several places, I felt like I could trust this place. We met Mr. Nahnsen and his wife and I told him that I was being given a crazy price. Steven gave me great news, no problem with the transmission. It was battery acid that burn electrical wires. The cost was about 700. I'm no mechanic. I would of not known how to fix it. But this really was a blessing for us. I thank him for being honest with us. I will recommend his location. This was my great experience.

Tried to charge me $3,300 for a transmission you can buy online remanufactured for 1600 with all racing parts better service better clutches better piston better torque converters machines balanced and tested with a year warranty. Then said they would not install the online manufactures reman transmission. So I'm out $589 for an inspection. I will let you make your own assessment of the fairness in which they do business tried to charge me for 17 Shop hours and 110 an hour I rather get a unit offline cheaper and have someone put it in alas I'll do it myself because I'm a mechanic I thought this was going to save me some time at a non substantial cost I was wrong.
