This is a very honest Auto Repair place with fair prices and a fabulous staff. They took care of my car issues and got me out on teh road then had the corredt part come in and then installed that and i know no one believes me, they came to my home and picked up my car because of logistics and me being nearby. The quality of the people recommending (other car repair places, tow truck driver, a neighbor, that thought Uptown is a better fit) spoke volumes of their trusted brand they build. They won my trust.

My mechanics Albert and Gonzalo at Precision Motors, who I love, are such a great resource when I need anything car related. This time, they suggested I call Uptown Body and Fender. Ironically, I was sitting in my car at a parking lot texting a client before I was going to drive home, when a person misjudged the turn into the spot next to me and hit my car. I had it towed to Uptown Body and Fender for repair, and they were fantastic from my first call. I spoke to Giovana, who was so professional and courteous and worked so well with the insurance adjuster it was seamless for me. They did an amazing job on the repair and stored my car inside until I was able to pick it up. Companies who do good work and give great service should be acknowledged. Giovanna is an OG trailblazer: a woman owner in the very male-dominated world of auto body repair. Uptown Body & Fender is also an independent shop — and that matters. Independent means they are working for the quality of the repair, not for the insurance company’s lowball target. They are not there to skip the things you can’t see just to make the numbers easier for the insurer. Giovanna and her extremely capable team know the ins and outs of insurance negotiations, and they know how to help customers get what they actually need. Some of them have worked on the dark side of insurance, so they know exactly where the pressure points are — and yes, they know how to wield their lightsabers. When I told people that a bus hit my parked car and kept rolling, after they picked their jaws up off the floor, five different people immediately told me: Go to Giovanna. One of them had just picked up their car from Uptown and said, “Don’t even bother shopping around.” That recommendation was fresh. My front fender hasn’t looked this good since 2012. Highly professional, excellent service, and thorough communication. Giovanna is communicative and has a lovely personality. Mike and Rodrigo offered me clear explanations on what was needed to fix the hood latch on my car. My car was fixed in a timely manner and looks better than before. The thank you note with Madeleine cookie added a classy touch. I had a great experience and would highly recommend Uptown Body & Fender for car repairs.
